FUEL UP TO PLAY 60

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED UP TO HELP US REACH "TOUCHDOWN" STATUS!! STUDENTS WHO REACH 20,000 POINTS BECOME AN AMBASSADOR.

We had our kick off promotion Saturday February 7th during the high school basketball game. We have 6 steps to complete to become a Fuel Up To Play 60 Touchdown School. There are two steps left to be completed. Please help our school by signing up at the link below.

Children under 13 years of age need a parent/guardian's permission to sign up. Click here for a Guide to student registration.

•         (THIS IS DONE) Step Two: Build Teams and Draft Key Players: Encourage students and other adults to register at www.fueluptoplay60.com. This is great for the FUTP60 Student Team; once they register, they can track their activities and earn point toward becoming a State Ambassador. Who knows, someone from your team may be selected to go to the National FUTP60 Youth Ambassador Summit. You can check off this step by encouraging students.

•         (THIS IS DONE) Step Three: Kickoff Fuel Up to Play 60:  You can check this off on your dashboard after your check presentation or announcement of the grant funding at an assembly.

•         (THIS IS DONE) Step Five: It’s Game Time: You can check this on your FUTP60 Dashboard now since you have selected both a Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Play to implement with the grant funding.

•         Step Six: Light Up the Scoreboard: Submit a Success Story on your FUTP60 dashboard. This can be a short paragraph with or without a picture. For example, you can submit a picture with a couple of sentences from the grant check presentation at an assembly or of an activity at school.

SCHWAN'S STUDENT OF THE MONTH FUNDRAISER

Harper Charter School is again holding a fundraiser to help support our Student of the Month Program. The School awards a Student of the Month Award each month for grades K-6 and grades 7-12 in each subject area, ex. math, language arts, science, and social studies. The awards are based on effort, attitude, academic improvement and academics excellence to encourage students to do their best. The students are honored at monthly assemblies with a certificate, their picture and names are printed in the local paper. As an added incentive the superintendent has in the past taken them to lunch in town. This involves 11 students each month at approximately $7.00 per student and the school has done this monthly for each of the nine months school is in session. We would like to continue taking the students to lunch, it is a great encouragement, however the lack of funds may end this practice . To support this program you can place orders through Schwan's. Please click here to view the flyer for ordering instructions. The school recieves 5% of your product purchase until November of next year. Please help support your students!
